The aim of this programme is to provide you as a Healthcare Professional (HCP) with the knowledge and awareness of key factors associated with effective caregiving to older people in order to empower you to support the health, wellbeing and independence of your patients. Throughout these courses we provide insight into the importance of compassion in caregiving to older people, and we will discuss important elements of caregiving interspersed with thought- provoking activities to allow you to reflect upon what you have learnt and consider how you would apply this to your role as an HCP as part of the larger caregiving network.

This is the second of four courses which are part of the Introduction to Caregiving to Older People for Healthcare Professionals series; Care 102: Safety in Caregiving for Healthcare Professionals.

Accredited for 6 CPD hours
